Trade dilemma, share your thoughts

Post by mortatone »

My 2001 USA natural ash strat w/ Wagners + $300

His 1978 Gibson Les Paul Special ‘55 reissue routed for unknown humbuckers.

Plus it’s 2 hours away, but I don’t mind the drive.

I’m interested but very much on the fence :hmm:

Here’s the Paul.

It looks in pretty decent shape with normal signs of use, but when I looked at some with original pickups my toungue fell outta my head. Friggin gorgeous.

He has it listed locally for $1500. Not a bad price in general for a non-clown 70’s LP.

Well shit. We had a deal all worked out and planned to travel for it tomorrow. The fucker sold it today and didn’t even give me a heads up.

I guess it’s his world and I’m just living in it
