First show with the Mark VII

Post by NinjaRaf »

Last night I went to watch my drummer and guitar players other band play. Got there early to let my guitar player use one of my Mesa cabs. Heard one of the bands dropped and joked about Faces of Many taking their slot since most of us were already there. Decided to zoom home and grab my shit before we got confirmation, but it all worked out and we got to play last minute. Mesa was great. Sounded amazing. My drummer used the cab clone out for his in ears and said he’s never moving my cab again. Really great time! Much needed too.

Thanks dudes!

Haha yeah Eric is great at doing what he does. We love his hilarious antics and his whole attitude on stage. Helps that we were all really excited to play this thing and the adrenaline of it being so last minute. It was awesome lol.

I was listening on my headphones but I just got home and played it on my studio monitors now.
The MkVII is ridiculous lol its clarity and definition is so superior to your older rig its not even funny, it's like going from black and white to 4k lol

I had the volume at 9 o clock. It was brutally loud. Dominated everything I had a hard time hearing the drummer but we didn’t really do a full band sound check so by the time we were playing it was too late to deal with it so fuck it. Loud as fuck it is!! LoLoL. It was awesome. The sound guy was all about it and we talked about tone and stuff for a bit after the set.

That amp is so fucking punchy and fun to play. I didn’t really expect to play it on stage any time soon so it was a nice surprise.

Had a guy in the crowd asking about the OGV too. He’s like what brand of guitar is that?

I think he's a killer frontman honestly. Quirky but entertaining to watch. Solid singer too as far as that style goes.

Best part is when he screamed so hard the suspenders popped off
