Went to the Rainbow
Went to the Rainbow Bar and Grill.
Tom Morello invited my GF and I and 20 other people to hang out. My GF is a rather famous film director.
She's known for her rock and roll documentaries. Larry Lelond and Nuno Bettencourt were there. Conversation centered around metal.
Tom is very cool. Fun time.

That post is damn near old-sk00l Loop level name droppings.
Sounds like a fun time. What documentaries has your GF done? I love a good music doc.

The Decline of Western Civilization, 1, 2, and 3.
We Sold Our Souls For Rock and Roll. Sold Our Souls was about the '99 Ozzfest, it was never released.
I should bootleg it.

Re: Went to the Rainbow
You're dating Penelope Spheeris? I thought she would be near her 80s now.
The Rainbow was my 2nd home in LA lol I was there 3-4 days a week. It's pretty much the only thing I miss from LA (well aside from my friends).

Yes, Penelope is my GF. We have been together since '97. I am old too. That was the first time I have been to the Rainbow. Never had a reason to go.

No shit Penelope Spheeris? THats pretty damn cool man. So is Larry Lelond still denying he was ever in Possessed? I remember when he came to Hawaii with Primus in the 90s, there was an interview that he denied every being in Possessed... said that wasn't him.

It's hard to believe he was in Possessed, his playing style doesn't seem like he was.
