Guitars made my life tolerable, brought me companionship, and offspring. As an overweight nerd, i was able to be confident and attractive enough to get married and have kids.
Without music, i would be dead and alone. And still fat.
Fwiw, singing was the real reason. Guitar is the only reason i sing.
