I'm almost done with the season. The directing is really good, but man this show is bleak.

Finished up Kin. Decent? That Dirty Black Bag is still fairly good.

Started Outer Range on Prime. Yellowstone starter kit + dumb scifi alternate reality premise = I'm not continuing down this path. Tokyo Vice is still great. Little meandering in a good way but I am enjoying it quite a bit.

Started the Big Mouth spinoff series, Human Resources. It's funny. Not Big Mouth funny, but funny. The hormone monsters fucking all over the office was the funniest part so far.

It's funny that I was the one who started this thread. Looking back in time is fun.

I'm pretty sure Pickle started this thread, but his account seems to no longer exist so your first response turned you into the author? I noticed it changing from saying pickle was the author to modest mike a bit ago

Yeah I could have sworn it wasn't me who made the thread, but I'm not going to argue with the ability to change the thread title.

Wasted some dumb time starting the last string of Ozarks episodes. Wendy is so. So. Unlikable at this point. Going along quite nicely.

WARNING: My wife called Sopranos level shenanigans on the last episode.

I won't say that, but it definitely had the smack of the writers room laughing at the viewers. More in the Mad Men territory than the Sopranos territory. Like the entire creative team went, "You know what? We're done. Let's cram our cocks down their throat and laugh at them for watching it all."

Kinda tired of great shows ending on such shit notes.

Well poop. We have I think 4 episodes left? Marty was down south in the last episode we watched last night. Kind of stretching it out now and not doing a full on binge so maybe the sting will be less

They do. I have it right now for reasons I can't remember. Through Prime, it also gives you Shudder and IFC subscriptions. Which is cool enough.

I'm on episode 3 of Outer Range.

It's great so far. Definitely worth a watch.

Also enjoying Moon Knight.

I tried a few episodes of Outer Range. Great cast and overall vibe initially; but the twist was a little much for me at the time. I need to revisit another episode or 2 as Brolin is usually great in whatever he's in, generally speaking.

Finished up Ozarks. Without going into spoiler land; I thought it ended as about as tidy (and good) as it could without going full blown "insert horrible series ending here" just for the sake of being a twist or shock to the fans. One thing particularly sucked but I thought other than a moment of loss of common sense; they kept things true to form.

Currently re watching Ozark before watching the last few episodes. Couldn't really remember half of what was going on when we watched the first half of season 4

Started The Offer on Paramount. Story of the Godfather production. Really good so far. Great cast. Even Dan Fogler, who I usually like as the Jack Black Poverty Edition he is but he wears out his welcome fast. Here he is pretty well immersed into the Coppola character. Actor playing Robert Evans is awesome as well. I am only 2 (3?) episodes in but it's going good so far.

^Ruddy's girlfriend character is driving me nuts. Her insistence that he's hiding something from her is too needy and distracting from the rest of the tone of the story, imo.

Corner Gas is surprisingly funny for a freebie.

Witcher is a nice "not taking itself seriously" fantasy show. Surprised we didn't pick it up sooner. I love that type of show where you can tell the creators are just having fun with the absurdity of it all. Though it does make me miss The Outpost.

Mayans is full blown at this point. Shootings every couple episodes.

Better Call Saul is slow-burn this season. I'm enjoying it, but know I'm gonna like it more when I can binge the whole season.

Yep. She is serious high maintenance. Ruddy was with Hogan's heroes for 7 years and, which they make seem like two weeks in the show. He also had worked for Jack Warner for a couple years before that. Irl, he probably networked like crazy hanging out at Chateau Marmont every night with her. Gram Parsons and Hunter S. Thompson both lived there around this time. About four years after this, she sold Marmont and joined a cult in Oregon. The guy playing Mario Puzo is killing it.
