I'm expecting it to get funnier when they bring Black Beard into the cast proper. Him being trained into political society looks hilarious as all get out.
This show is great so far. Rhys Darby isn't in enough stuff.
Agreed.
"We're werewolves not swearwolves" will always be one of the my favorite movie quotes.

I HATE sports but I want to see that Lakers show with JCR.
Letterkenny fans: Single episode special put up for International Wimmenz Day.
Holy fuck. We kept laughing and having to go back so much it took us almost an hour to get through a 23 minute show.
"I once queefed so loud after sex it was like my mitt was announcing to my butthole who's in charge."
So not right.
And we finally get to meet "Professors Tricias." And Squirrely Dan is every bit the kissass with her you would expect. While she's so laid back that she literally changes her clothes in front of a group of guys while asking them to describe women they admire. LOL.
Fucking McMurray McMurray's that situation to the fullest.
Can't god damn wait for Shoresy. Shouldn't be much longer now. They apparently had the filming done sometime in December.

Yeah that was a great episode haha “queefed so loud, my neighbors thought I bought a dirt bike”

and Mrs McMurray was the ostrich hahaha
Mrs. McMurray crushed that episode hard. Granted, she usually does. Even her slow reaction to being introduced was played perfectly.
Started watching From. Show about a town that traps people driving through it and is terrorized nightly by vampire(ish) creatures. Interesting(ly familiar) premise and solid show so far. We'll see how far out into Walking Dead Starter Kit land we get.
Getting caught up on Killing Eve. What a strangely toned quirky show about contract killers I thought last season was kind of it for me but this season is plugging away quite nicely.
Finished up the Last Kingdom S5 over the weekend. Slow start for me as the only character with much charm initially on display is Uhtred. I will say it got better towards the last few episodes. Supposedly they are doing a movie. It will be interesting to see what storyline they pursue. The drama between each faction and their hunger for power as well as (obviously) the fight scenes is what draws you in. This show vs. initial seasons of GoT or even Vikings is a little tough sell comparatively. You don't have as many charismatic characters to carry the show. But it's still a good, fast watch usually.
^ started killing eve the other night. its pretty good so far. sandra oh annoys me but I like the russian girl
The elizabeth holmes show on Hulu is quite good

Man, stuff is ramping up hard on Gilded Age. Very interested where they take that for the season closer. I have a feeling the aunts are gonna flip shit when she tells 'em she's jumping on her man.
We're pretty deep into Reign and I was really enjoying what's going on with Claude tormenting Katherine relentlessly over the supposed disease until it was revealed it was poison, the same poison that made Henry flip his shit. Dis gon git gude.
We're also deep in a rewatch of Drunk History. I had forgotten how often we see blurry dicks on that show. Kinda brutal at times. Funny, but brutal.
Started watching Back. Boring af title aside; stars the pair from Peep Show. Oddball UK comedy that was a little too strange for me but I could see what they were shooting for. This show is a semi-generically premised sitcom but with their chemistry injected into it. For fans of Cuckoo, Friday Night Dinner and other raunchy UK humor seemingly tamed down but not really tamed down sort of thing. Couple of episodes in but I am loving it.
^almost through this. Hilarious show if you dig the deadpan English delivery stuff.
Watched Reacher over the weekend. Wasn't sure what to think of the bleached Hulk thing. But it was really good. Kind of gave me a far less ridiculous (NTTAWWT) Banshee vibe. Good watch.
Our Flag Means Death had a hilarious season finale. Holy shit. "Now THAT was a fuckery!" God damn over-the-top death scenario. And Blackbeard going full mental was pretty awesome too. That, "There he is" moment reminded me so much of Metatron teasing and scolding Chuck into going full God Mode, almost smiting him and then Metatron going, "There he is," that it gave me serious deja vu.
Started The Outlaws on Prime. Christopher Walken and Stephen Merchant (as well as others) are part of a group of low level offenders doing community service. UK comedy stretched out with some action to 1hr long format. Script and cast is really what makes it, unsurprisingly. Quick watch that was really good.
Not bad, but we're only a few eps in and the real shit hasn't started yet. Here's to looking forward to the new Blood Eagle moment. We've already had an oceanic betrayal and killing on the high seas during a storm no less. Let's see where this goes. If it's to live up to its predecessor, it's got a long ways to go.
Atlanta S3E3 had me rolling on the floor. Trust me. It's one of the funniest shows on right now. Minx is good if you don't mind seeing a dong in every episode. Winning Time is really good too. John C. Reilly is killing it.
The other funniest shows: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, South Park, Ted Lasso, Letterkenny, Peacemaker, Our Flag Means Death, Righteous Gemstones, Derry Girls, Hacks, Mythic Quest, AP Bio and What We Do In The Shadows. Space Force and The Marvelous Maisel were good, but not their best seasons.
JiveTurkey wrote:Started Tokyo Vice last night. Michael Mann show about an american reporter living in Japan. Watched the first episode and really good so far.
I just saw an ad for that last night, definitely looked interesting, I'll have to check it out.
Started Utopia last night. Holy crap. It's the perfect blend of meta nerdery, violence, and comedy. While it does seem to hold a lot in common with some contemporaries, the time they put into character development on people that just end up dead an episode later is truly appreciated. Typically cannon fodder doesn't get character development. Excellent stuff.
