This is a fully assembled system with everything you need to plug and play.
Some details about the system components:
The case is a Gator 2u Shallow rack. I carefully selected this case because of its molded tongue and groove format. This allows the case to balance perfectly on top of most amps since the tongues are tall enough to clear most amp heads handles. I've used this on top of Marshall, Soldano and Friedman heads with no issues. I also added a very bright LED strip to the back of the case so you can easily connect your rig in dark stages.
The power conditioner is an older unit made by Powerworks. Much better than the current cheap stuff. I replaced the halogen bulbs with LED bulbs so they don't generate heat.
The footswitch is a Tech 21 MIDI Mongoose. I chose this footswitch for 2 reasons: first it is small enough to fit in the lid of the case so you do not need to carry another case for it if you don't want to. Second and most importantly this footswitch can be powered by either an 9v AC adapter (not included) or by a single 9v battery and the battery life is really long. I only had to change batteries once an year!! This is super cool because you won't need to be looking for power in the front of the stage, using extension cords etc. Just run one MIDI cable to the board and you're done!
Obviously the center of everything is the TC G-Major 2. If you're looking at this listing you know how awesome this unit is. Great sounding modulation, pitch shifting (including micro pitching for the big EVH tones) crystal clear delays and reverbs and even the ability to switch channels on your amp per patch!
Not pictured but also included is the Suhr Minimix parallel mixer that gives you a pure analog path for your dry tone while allowing the G-Major to be run in parallel (in kill dry mode) and be mixed to your analog signal without the amp's tone passing through the TC ADA converters. This is how the pros do it!!
I am also including ALL the cables you need to plug and play: a dual mono cable with color coded plugs for your effects loop, a TRS cable for the amp channel switching (both these cables are snaked together for ease of use) and a long MIDI cable to connect the footswitch. Everything fits in the back of the case so setting up at gigs is really easy.
