Pickles in hamburgers

Post by Bonano »

Why? I don't mind them, but I never thought pickles EVER enhanced a hamburger.

Now, fresh onions - essential. Even in sandwiches.

Pickles are vile. Onions are the way. Though in the past few years with the advent of facemasking; onions on anything has created a dilemma of sorts

I like pickles, but only by themselves. Pickles ruin any good burger, sandwich, etc. I'll pop em in my mouth cold all day tho

Onions are incredible on anything. Especially caramelized in bacon grease

pickles are gross and don't help anything be better......

onions - raw, sautéed, pickled or caramelized are always a welcome addition to a burger

Pickles may not necessarily make or break a burger, but they do make a good one better. Especially when they’re pickled correctly.

I like onions well enough, but I prefer shaved to the giant rings. Raw, pickled, caramelized, etc.; they all have their place(s).

Well, if you consider relish from like Heinz which has a lot of pickled cucumbers in it, to me, it is ABSOLUTELY essential in tuna salad.

Dill pickles with ketchup is one of the best and most balanced flavors ever. Salty, tangy and a little sweet. Just excellent on hotdogs and hamburgers alike.

Man, I love pickles on burgers. Especially spicy pickle chips. Add a nice snap and that vinegar to cut through the fattiness.

The problem with pickles on burgers is when they get warm and floppy. Who in their right mind wants a limp ass warm floppy pickle?

Not this guy :hand:

Pickles on both burgers and chicken sandwiches, also with a deli sandwich, or just alone, they are awesome.
