We’ve been watching the new season of See on Apple TV. Pretty damn brutal and it sort of scratches that GoT itch. Just have to hope it doesn’t go to complete shit.

Finished up S1 of Prodigal Son. Pretty Fox-y show, complete with light hearted serial killer starter kit plotline. Sold mainly by the actor portraying the Dr. himself. Dude has been in a long list of things but I can't ever recall him actually being a big part of why something is or isn't good. He does excellent in this. The finale was BONKERS and a very good lead up to S2. Kind of in a mini show hole now; so we'll keep going and see how the next season pans out.

It’s going well so far man. Something I like is that the blind characters don’t acknowledge anyone else; looking away, no eye contact, no response to body language, etc. pretty cool

WuTang is heating up. Getting to the good stuff now \m/ Actor playing ODB seems to have toned it down juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust enough of a notch to blend in a bit more. Excited for what's next.

So basically blew threw the whole final season of Goliath over the weekend. Lol lazy. Great wrap up, generally speaking. Billy Bob and the actress that plays Patty have a great chemistry. Bonus points for Bruce Dern's crazy old self and JK Simmons and it makes for a nice little run of episodes.

Only a couple episodes into season 4 of Goliath (started the entire show just a few weeks ago lol). I feel like the writing got weird in season 3 when they suddenly decided it was a surrealist show  still one of the better shows on right now

Oh yeah. There is more of that in this season  It keeps it fairly reigned in in comparison to S3 though.

Season 5 of Lucifer. Michael, in every version of any story ever, really comes across like an even bigger dick than Lucifer. This was no exception. Making them legit twins was a new twist I hadn't seen before, and the parent trap bullshit thankfully didn't last too long with it. It's been fairly enjoyable, even with the minor annoyances.

Now, if Lucifer would just put Michael out of our misery, maybe they can get on with the plot.

I still like Chicago PD.

They toned down the "we'll beat confessions out of you and mete justice as we see fit" aspects the last several seasons (touchy subject for the times...), but the old Lt. Voight came roaring back in the first episode of this season. That show is at it's best when Voight is at his worst from a "letter of the law" perspective. Considering that the bad guy tortured and shot one of his detectives, killing him, digging a hole in the middle of nowhere, tossing the body in the hole and setting it on fire before walking away seemed like a solid Hank Voight move :thu:

Searching around in Peacock the other day looking for something to watch and see there is a Frogger show. Starring a Wayans brother it looks like. :freak:

Started The Foundation on Apple last night. It's based on a 7 novel series from Isaac Asimov. So far, it has the makings to be one of the great sci-fi shows.

I used to read the CRAP out of those books. Too bad it's yet another streaming service I'm not about to jump on.

Wu-tang is getting good \m/ Only Murders is winding down and in a solid way. Not as drop dead hilarious as I hoped but very good and worth finishing I'd say.

By some miracle Lucifer actually has gotten better under Netflix ownership than it was before. The episode where Lucifer sent Dan on an adventure and everything kept getting worse and worse was god damned brilliant. And the interactions between god and the normies on the show make me crack up nearly every time. Maze's plot has great depth and character development going on. Lucifer being Lucifer through all the other chaos is just so perfect.

I'm sensing they pulled some cues from Supernatural's later seasons. Angels are dicks. God's an absent father. In-fighting amongst the heaven born. Don't get me wrong, they're definitely putting their own twists on it, but it's feeling real tribute-like at times.

Which is absolutely fine by me. I freakin' love Supernatural. We've still got a few episodes of the Supernatural Anime to go. It's a fantastic spin on the concept, and sort of blazes its own path that's a little different from the live action yet holds true to the mythology. Worth a watch for any fan.

yeah Netflix did a solid job taking over and wrapping up the series...

Squid Game was nuts. Just nuts. I had some theories, especially about the big twist, that I was right on, but man, still a lot of things I didn’t expect. So good. It’s a slow start but once it gets going it’s good.

Binged 9 Perfect Strangers. Was different (and better) than I thought it would be. Michael Shannon in particular was awesome. He's usually great but unlikable. In this; he was a likable character and a great portrayal. Nicole Kidman is a weirdo plastic surgery disaster. Which was exactly as expected. But overall; good show.

Watched first episode of Midnight Mass. Was slow but not slow in a oh look 53.5 minutes of drawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwn out boring then 1.5 minutes of jump scare to lure you into another episode. We'll see how much the religion angle irritates me as we go.
