man... Banshee was so awesome.... didn't like the last season though, seemed like they gave them the news that it was their last season kinda late and the writers scrambled to wrap things up.....
I rewatched the two Jack Ryan seasons not too long ago, really looking forward to the 3rd season
Started Sharp Objects on HBO. Weird family alcoholic murder drama set in Missouri. Good so far but pretty dour and fairly trippy all things considered. About 2 episodes left.
Beginning of season 2 of Dave was a little rough but I feel like I’ve been laughing more like with the first season as it’s moved along
I love that his personality doesn’t seem to be acting, by all accounts from actual interviews and such this is who he is

8/10, there was some funny shit in that show. Plus Penny is all sorts of yum.
Jesus, dude - all in a row?? I watched it as it progressed in real time and I watch the reruns nightly for the same reason; nothing else on, it's funny and Penny

Well I didn’t tie myself into a chair or anything; I don’t watch regular TV as I can’t stand commercials so I never watched this before, but it was on HBO Max and in between errands/gym/sleep yeah. Was good and I haven’t watched a really long series in a few years.
This shit fuckin killed me; that dude as a physical comedian is a genius, I must have watched this vid 30 times over the last week and I’ve laughed just as hard every time.

Walowitz is funny as hell, too, and does some amazing impressions. That caught me off-guard the first time I saw it...

Me and the wife are still working from home and just finished Big Bang on Monday. We had been picking TV shows to rewatch throughout the pandemic during lunch.
Started with Scrubs, then Golden Girls (didn't finish) and then Big Bang. I like Big Bang and think it's funny, I realize I'm in the minority
We just started Fresh Prince today

Watched a German show over the weekend. Dark Woods. Police serial killer procedural set in the 80s and 90s about a missing woman. Good stuff. They've definitely watched a few British cop shows.
Started a show that my wife is pretty much hating because of it's ridiculousness that she is tolerating because she knows I think it's hilarious and she's a gem like that
Garth Marenghi's Darkplace. Weird mocumentary about a horror author's lost 80's scifi/horror hospital tv series. Starring Moss and Reynholm from the IT Crowd. Words really don't do it justice. Grainy video footage that looks period correct; ridiculous slo mo and voice dubbing and some just straight up absurd sh!t. If you love the dumbest of the dumb with a total 80s vibe and bonus points for excellent UK humor slant; check it out.
If you want to go back a ways, "House" and "Chuck" were both excellent shows. Would be worth a binge...
If you really want to go back, "X-Files" and "Millennium". The premise for "Millennium" is certainly dated, but it was good TV. Alternating between doomsday scenarios and dark, twisted crime...

I did House once in a great while. Chuck I can't do because I don't like the actor portraying the character for some reason. Like Dax Shepard with less charisma or something?
I have been wanting to rewatch Millennium for some time. Lance Henrikson and dark af atmosphere is a great combo.

Gotcha - I don't mind Zachary Levi and thought he was good in it. Plus, "Sarah" was smokin' and that helps...

Watching Supernatural in binge mode, Jeffery Dean Morgan's 300th episode appearance felt a bit disjointed. The character/man John Winchester in 2003 would have been a broken hard ass shithead, and he spent nearly his entire flash-forward weeping and telling everybody how proud he was of them. The dude would literally send Dean away as a kid for pissing him off, and he was ALWAYS pissed off. Not to mention how well he and Sam always got along.
Granted, I totally get seeing his wife would reset him a little bit, but his calm acceptance that he's gonna go back and not remember anything is pretty straight fucked.
Don't get me wrong, that episode is clearly a tribute to all that had come before, and was meant as a love letter to the relationships that were hovering around John before yellow eyes killed Mary, but, well, it has to almost be viewed in isolation because trying to relate it to the character you already know makes it hit just enough off center to leave a bit of "what" vibe going on.
Still, how many shows manage to fill 300 episodes and not feel stale as fuck every single one of them? Not many. And Jack's beginning to break bad after using up his soul to help his friends. Nick going full-blown Lucifer conduit is a nice and fun dark turn, and the end-run is in sight. A season and a half to go now. Then on to finally watch the Supernatural anime that we've owned forever and never cracked open.
