Reaper becomes very frustrating when you leave it sitting for a few months or years. They update everything, then nothing works. I had to redo all of my focusrite drivers.

Reaper prompts me for updates all the time. I almost always do them because the prompt annoys me and I don't want to see it.

On each track you are able to set the input it's receiving. You will want to pick Analog 1 for one mic and Analog 2 for the other on the second track. It should default to Analog 1 so on the second track you will need to change it.

Yeah. It really sucks that they're continuously making improvements and handing out free updates every other day. Fuckin' Reaper.

I love Reaper.
I've learned to love it. But I do actually love it now. It does virtually everything any other DAW does.
But when Jive and I finished the current Neon Fortress project I am very likely to make the move to Ableton Live.
Now, they tell me, "hey, we improved it so much, you need to pay $60 again. sorry, we lied when we implied you were forever paid up. Welcome to this little countdown timer every time you open your software."
Mort you are too damn funny I about pissed myself reading your obviously DAW challenged posts. And Broslinger they say the $60 covers 2 major full releases I believe. So say 4.5 to 6.0 and all the .X releases in between but not more than 2 full 4 - 6 revs. I seriously have tried nearly every DAW out there and it doesn't get better than this for the coin. Also the Kenny Gioia videos are like gold to learn Reaper. Mort no more spliffs or beers till you are setup ready to record and then you can partake, OK?
