Been patrolling guitar and gear forums for a long time now, but finally decided to join one as the need to be among-st other gear heads finally made me cave in there just aren't enough hanging around my social circles.
Anyways, enough explaining. Happy to be here on the forum! I'm a twenty-one year old guitarist from Louisville, Kentucky and have been playing since I was a kid. But it wasn't until I heard "Walk This Way" by Aerosmith in seventh grade that I decided to really get serious about it. Got a Epiphone Les Paul and a little Marshall combo, and I haven't been the same since.
Nowadays I'm gigging quite heavily, and am currently in three bands so you do the math! Besides school, music and guitar is definitely occupies my time. I use a Gibson SG Standard (cherry red with a half pickguard) and a blonde Telecaster, which I believe is a Mexican Fender but it's been awhile since I checked. Was using a old Marshall Super Lead a lot up until recently, but I've given it a break and switched to a 73' Super Reverb. 45 watts is still pretty loud, but definitely more gig-able.
Definitely looking forward to having plenty of discussions of tone and talk here, gentlemen! And just go easy on the kid
