Tech 21 Effects Loop

Post by andvari7 »

Good afternoon,

Thanks to Tech 21, I have fixed the issue with my Liverpool Deluxe bank select not working properly. Now, it’s the effects loop. When it’s enabled, on any given channel, it doesn’t make any sounds. The LED lights up, and the enable/disable works fine. When I disable it, the pedal works as normally.

I followed the instructions: FX Send to input of pedal chain, follow chain, and the output goes to into FX Return. Push 2x to enable, and nothing.

Am I doing this wrong, which I suspect I am? I have no interest in running my effects through my mixer, because not everyone has one, and I don’t have an amp, per se, so I can’t just use the amp’s loop.

Thank you.

I probably should have checked my pedals, because the power ACA jack for the FT-2 does not work. It runs on batteries, but not on power supply. I will need to get that fixed; to do that, I’ll need to find someone, because I’m not sending shit to Savage Audio. As good as the work was on my THD, that motherfucker ghosted me on my AF-9, and, until I get it back, I’m not giving him one single penny.

Full Compass is an authorized Roland service center, which probably means they do Boss. I also have a gefickt Pigtronix EP-2 I’d like to have fixed. Problem is, Full Compass is closed today, and won’t be open until Tuesday. I won’t be home until Thursday night, so I’ll have to get in there Friday morning.

ACA pedals won't work with PSA adapters or the 9v outs of many power supplier. Make sure that's not the issue first. Get an ACA adapter and try that.
