-the solo to "ive got friends in low places" kicks all kinds of ass.

-that avenged sevenfold song, bat country i think. i never listened to their other stuff, but thats got some sweet harmony stuff going on. mostly guilty pleasure because those dudes look SOOOOOO douchey. insufferable doucehbags, the lot of them i bet.

Pretty much everything by Poison; they were my favorite band in the world when I was a wee tot so they'll always get love from me

I get a lotta flack from musicians because i own "Homesick" by A Day to Remember, but i don't own any beatles, rolling stones, led zeppelin, etc.

I don't give a fuck that Hair Metal dudes dressed like idiots, some of them played some really awesome music. Reb Beach in Winger was one of my favorites. Mutha could rip.

I also like Bat Country, and Piece of Heaven by A7.

And no matter how many people tell me Disturbed sucks ass, I still like the music. Come at me, bros.

the dude from disturbed lives a couple miles from me now. married a wrestler chick and moved here. so fucking weird.

I heard that dude was in town.

One time I was playing a show in Dallas at a place called Reno's chop shop. The bar and actual venue are in separate rooms. In the bar area Drowning Pool was there having a "listening party" of their new unreleased record. The amount of white people with shitlocks in the bar at that time was staggering.

Set Your Goals catches a lot of flack for writing really simple and sometimes repetitive stuff with leads that could be performed by a 7th grader.

Me too! I still like both. Never played anything djenty personally but I still dig it.
