Software Tool Q - cutting video for jam loops

I'm not recording with my laptop but I use it often to stream songs I'm learning.
Similar to that use, I want to cut up some YouTube videos and play them back as loops to practice solos, etc.
I already can rip these as Flash FLVs for the most part, but I don't have an editor. What I need is a quick and dirty means to cut them to a chosen breakpoint.
I don't even require the ability to normalize or adjust audio levels, just something that will trim an FLV into a precise clip and not glitch up the audio in the process.
Any suggestions ?
