At least the cover pic is of the good Metallica. $10 bet there'll be two pages dedicated to the first four albums and the entire rest of the issue will be about how St. Anger and the Loads changed music forever and how their crossover with table-boy proved that they're still the riskiest band in the business.

It's cool to see Cliff again.
I just don't think they've been relevant to my interests since the Lightning record so I probably wont check out the mag.
Just watch Cliff 'em All

If it Metallica wasn't on the cover, Hendrix, Randy Rhoads, or Dimebag Darrell would be. I have 4 "special editions" of Metallica GW.

Amazingly in a nut shell this
I did pick it up at Von's as I was shopping for groceries with my family and in short summary that is exactly what this was about.
The only part really worth reading for any pleasant digest was the part at the end with Kirk Hammett where there is a small passage of Guitar Aficionado about him.

for the record I don't hate Metallica - loved em from 86-94ish. Actually really like the tones and production on Load/Reload. I just moved on after that...
To Tool

Very cool! The first time I saw them was 1993 (Lalapalooza). Pretty cool show overall but that's where I really started liking Tool... that lasted until I was too stupid to understand them around 2002ish
