Looking to move some toys. I don't frequent these parts very often, but some of you know me as "MetalHed" from HCAF, where I have an extensive trading and selling history.
FJA Kustom Double Cross - basically a high gain swiss army knife, jerry made some minor tweaks to the amp. He tamed some of the fizz in the preamp and re-voiced the power section a little. 3 channels: a rhythm channel that handles everything from clean to AC/DC type overdrive, and two very different high gain channels: one that is voiced for "modern" high gain sounds with a tight bottom, a slight dip to the mids and a touch of compression for a killer rhythm sound; the second voiced more for "classic" high gain sounds with a looser bottom end, a ton more mids and a more open sound that is great for leads. It has an adjustable footswitchable volume boost, and because you can control the send and return levels of the effects loop, you can use the loop for an additional volume boost if necessary. Kills me to part with it, but I need the $$ because my stripping career hasn't taken off the way I had anticipated. Mint condition. $750 shipped.
FJA Peavey Windsor - has the "80's mod+" version of Jerry's Windsor mods, and the "Texture" knob is now a mid sweep. Single channel monster with a footswitchable boost. Louder than holy hell, does hair metal with ease, can do modern heavy sounds with a boost. Excellent condition. $350 shipped.
FJA Peavey Triple X - Has the high gain version of Jerry's Triple X mods. The power section is night and day from the stock amp, far louder and thicker. The preamp is less compressed and more responsive than the stock preamp. Kills me to part with this one too, but you know the deal. Excellent condition. $750 shipped.
White Ibanez VBT700 with EMG 81 & 60. Ibanez only made this for one year before a lawsuit from Jackson made them pull the plug on production. Plays and sounds great, mint condition, no dings or scratches at all. I don't have a hard case, but I have a high quality padded form fitting bag that offers much more protection than your typical gig bag. $550 shipped.
