What DAW are you using?

I used to use Logic, Cubase, and pro tools when I was doing my diploma. The last DAW I had on my home system was only SX =/ When the PC died cubase went with it.
I am slowing trying to get a new recording set up sorted. I purchased a basic Cubase 6 elements for use with a laptop and starting buying other equipment to go with it. Money 'issues' put a swift holt to it, but I hope to get it sorted. Might upgrade to artist 6 or get cubase 7 at some point.
What DAW are you guys using?

Reaper is great because it doesnt eat up all your resources, and its simple and straight forward. Perfect for home stuff.

I currently use Logic. Great for Midi editing, simple to use and I'm a big fan of the stock plug-ins that come with it. Does have functions and features which i will never use though.
Sorely tempted to try out Reaper. Heard so much good stuff about it. The "starting from scratch" and "will the stock plugs be as good as Logic's" are the only things holding me back at this point. Lame, I know.
Has anybody made the jump to/from Logic/Reaper? Any experiences or findings?

Studio One Producer.
Godammn, S1 has lovely workflow - everything is so quick and easy. REAPER is my second choice though.

Pro Tools 10 on a Mac Book Pro. I maxed out the RAM to 16gb. Was using an MBox Pro III but just got an Apollo Quad. It's amazing.

I have Protools, Cubase, and Reaper. I use them all for different things. I tend to like Cubase more often though.

I used Sonar 8.5 for years, then switched over to PreSonus Studio One 2.0. I really liked Studio One's layout. It was well organized, visually attractive, and made things a breeze. However, I just bought an Eleven Rack and it came with the full version of Pro Tools 10. Pro Tools is required to effectively use the 11R the way I want (with third-party impulses), plus I just figured "why not?" since it's such a good deal. I like it a lot so far, although I'm still adjusting to the switch and I have a lot to learn. It has some really cool features with the way it integrates with 11R and it runs smoothly. The downside is that my plugin collection has now basically shrunken in half (since I don't want to pay for a VST to RTAS wrapper, and I've heard they don't work well), but I actually kind of like that too since my RTAS stuff does more than enough and having fewer options seems to make me more productive. The only things I don't like are the long loading times and the lack of customization options for organizing plugin lists.

I've used a lot of DAWs in the past, anyone remember Cool Edit Pro?
Nowadays I'm using Pro Tools 10 on a i7 quad core Windows box, runs smooth as silk.

I use Reaper right now, but I think I'm gonna make the jump to protools because I'm in a class that is based around it

yeah, got to check out the school studio the other day. They have a pretty sweet setup. Nothing too high end, but compared to just a Fasttrack and a 57, its great.

I've been a big Garageband user for the past few years, but after hitting a couple of limitations with it, I installed the Presonus Studio One software that came with my interface. I actually really dig it, and it works well for what I'm doing now music-wise.
