So it's resume time again for me here at the office as we opened up another position. I'm looking through resumes and this was how somebody listed their performed duties at their previous job..

"• Welcomes guests and clients by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.
• Maintains attorney calendar by planning and scheduling conferences, teleconferences, dispositions, and travel; recording and monitoring court appearance dates, pleadings, and filing requirements; monitoring evidence-gathering; anticipating changes in litigation or transaction preparation requirements.
• Maintains office supplies by checking stocks; placing and expediting orders; evaluating new products."

• Puts the lotion in the basket

You're giving a secretary/assistant this hard of a time over bullet pointing their duties?

"So, I see here that it has experience putting the lotion in the basket. But does it have the discipline to do this whenever it is told? How does it feel about getting the hose?"

I've spent too much of my adult life reading resumes and interviewing candidates for entry level positions not to find this humorous.
