Orange Dark Terror

I have a line to buy one locally for a great price (under 300). I've played this amp at music stores before and liked it, so I'll probably do it.
Does anyone here have one and used it in a band context? Is it loud enough to keep up with a rock/metal drummer without falling apart? How's the effects loop? Any reliability concerns?

I actually did have one for a spell. And the answer is NO to all of that. Lol.d but you’ll find some who say it can hang with a drummer. And I’ll just say it doesn’t with the drummers I played with. I guess is it possible. Just barely. And of course you’ll still “hear” the amp but this is is honestly more a recording or Live amp where you are mic’d. People do seem to like these for recordings. Especially black metal bands I’ve seen.

Yeah that's what I thought. Thanks man!!
I'll probably still buy it and keep it as a studio amp.

I had one for a little while. Cool amp for sure. I really kinda liked the "unique" tones I was getting from it. I could also kinda get My tone, but not enough. I played it with two 4x12's and it could hang with my drum kit, but probably not a had hitting one. I had no issue with the loop. I also ran a few preamp pedals through the loop for a tube power section. The single eq control is surprisingly flexible, but ultimately I would have preferred a regular B/M/T.

None of the terror amps can really keep up with a band imo but this one really can’t

Especially for the style music it excels at. That said, they’re really fun to play at home.

I have the white Micro Terror, (no loop), that works fine, play it through a 4X12 cab. I only use it occasionally at home but the rhythm guitarist in my son's old band borrowed it for a show when his amp shit the bed. Worked out well for the show.

Isn't the Micro Terror a hybrid amp with a SS power amp? What's the wattage rating of it?

It is a hybrid, it has a tube preamp and solid state power amp. 20 watts output. Tiny amp, only 6.5" wide X 3.5" tall X 3" deep.
