This arrived today. Didn’t get any real time with it at home before I had to run up to rehearsal with a band I’m filling in on guitar with. I’m using my ‘76 dr for this show so I took the sd-1 off ny board and decided to try some of the dirt models tonight instead. Sound great to me

The real fun began after we finished running the set and were just doing free form jamming. I popped on the synth leaf effect (exactly the sort of thing I got this for, wild card odd ball fx and occasionally practical things lol). Sounded killer and was a big hit with the band. So much so that they requested I use it on one of the songs in the set. I let the saxophone player mess around with it in his setup and he said he’s gonna get one too

Looking forward to diving into all the other fx this weekend

Haven’t even gotten into the Flux function yet which is one of the things I’m most excited about

nice... HNPD... even though I have a HXFX I've been thinking about grabbing one of these to put on a 2nd board since I've been sitting in more regularly with another cover band but playing rhythm 95% of the time so I don't really need anything fancy on my board but a few songs I could use the occasional effect besides the delay I have on the board right now.

Yeah I'm also considering one.
The more I think about it, the more the idea of a "wildcard" pedal appeals to me.

Yeah my pedalboard has been pretty set without any changes for over a year with my “staple fx” but having a Swiss Army knife in the mix is awesome. I can get a lot of practical “normal” use out of this as well as being able to do a lot of weird crazy stuff during psychedelic improv stuff

It’s also very intuitive and easy to use. I’m a mild Luddite when it comes to gear and it’s very smooth tk navkgste around and I haven’t even really cracked a manual yet

Yeah something like this would interest me too, I had already been looking at the Walrus Audio M1 as a swiss army knife for modulation since I don't need to have one of every modulation on my pedalboard.

Got it all integrated in properly with 4CM. Also was relieved that at least with my rig the tuner on it does still work without being first in the chain so I was able to remove my pitch black and freed me up to have the afterneath up top instead of hanging sideways off the bottom of my board

Now I just need to get a midi to 1/8” cable so I can slave it to the midi clock chain
