I haven't played one of these in decades. If I remember right, they always sound like shit in the room, but somehow, with a mic about a foot out, you can get some half-decent rock tones. I'm sure those with actual skills can get better, if the rumors and myths surrounding it are to be believed.

I've never played one! I'm planning on leaving it out for a quick blast off whenever time permits. Can't wait to see how sounds with a Super Fuzz out front!!! WOOO HOOO!!!!

It actually gets a nice fuzz tone when cranked all the way up, no pedals needed.
