I have a lead on a 2020 Epi. Sig. JB Black Beauty w/ aftermarket Bigsby in excellent condition.
It doesn’t have original case or case candy, and also doesn’t have the original stop tailpiece.
I can buy as is for $866 out the door.
Given the price and details ,do you think it’s worth the asking price?
Here’s what it looks like.

It's an epiphone. The answer is NO.

Yeah I agree. I wouldn't pay more than 400-500 for any Epiphone.
I know they make decent guitars these days but still, it's a tier brand, brand, with the possible exception of some hollow body guitars.

Agreed with the above. I've had a couple good Epiphones (especially my Sheraton) but I wouldn't pay more than $500 for one.

I've heard they're actually pretty good but I'd have a hard time paying that much for an Epi. Now for a flip, maybe, it is a limited Joe Bonamassa guitar and for some reason, people will pay more for it. Granted these are with the case and tags, but looking on reverb people have paid up to $1600 for one, most of the sold have been more in the 1000-1200. Even the case by itself was going for $150.

No.
If I wanted one of these, I wouldn't go above $650 for one with no case, no case candy and replacement parts.
These guitars have a following with the JB fan boys, who will keep the price propped up. However, its my experience that fan boys want their sig models all original, including the case and paperwork.
