I think it sounds pretty damn good too. Dumble-y OD channel surprisingly so.

If I still played, this would be at the top of my list of GAS items. Everything I’ve heard from this amp sounds great. I have the MT-15 and that thing is a beast.

This amp sounded really good. Between this one and that other amp that came out with two power soaks have me kinda wanting a real amp vs a modeler.

I think this is the best sounding demo I’ve seen so far.

That overdrive channel is fantastic.

This looks great. I still want an MT-15 for home use just to have a cool high gainer in the stable.

This seems quite dope. Having channel 2 be a D type is legit. I tire of high gain 3 channel amps where 2 and 3 are essentially the same thing with slightly different gain levels

I like the amp but I am surprised how different the crunch and lead channels are. I think it would actually work for me since the crunch channel is a good rock channel and I am sure I could use the Lead channel for well... leads. Which is how the amp was designed.

For metal players, I don't know how it would work out? I don't think the Crunch channel will get aggressive enough unboosted. The Lead channel certainly will since it's similar to the MT15, so it would be essentially a 2 channel amp. That's fine I guess but less than ideal? I would think they would have made channel 2 and 3 closer but I can see Tremonti not wanting that since he's not a full blown metal player.

I think I would use it with the Lead channel as my high-gain rhythm channel and the overdrive channel as my lead setting with those creamy dumble-esque tones. I think that is probably how Mr. Tremonti is using it live. That being said I use the MT15 live with an ODR-1 as a boost and it crazy versatile.

It is stupid loud for 15watts! I saw a guy on YouTube who did the math and said it was closer to about 23-25 watts. I use a reactive load with it through an IR loader live or when recording most the time anymore.

Yup, this is how I would use it too. Or I’d just use ch2 for whatever random stuff. I think most metal guys need 1 or 2 channels, so if it’s got the 1-2 sounds you need, everything else is just extra. It’s be pretty similar to the mark VII where I basically never use ch2 lol.

Watch the Tremonti demo. He explains the Overdrive Channel is not meant for metal rhythm, the lead channel is. The OD ch is based on the Dumble amp he personally owns, which took me by surprise cause who knew Tremonti would dig on a D-style amp.

My only gripe with the channel 2 is the tone controls don't do a whole lot on that channel. I think it's a cool concept for an amp overall. People have been wanting an amp like this for years and nothing really comes close at this price point.

I will probably buy one eventually. I want to get the SYN-30 first, but once that's out of the way, I will probably be looking at this.

I had seen in an interview a few years back that he said the channels would be very different from one another and would be based on his favorite three amps. I incorrectly assumed at the time that it would have a channel based on the amp he said he uses on all his leads, a Cornford Richie Kotzen rk100, which is one of my bucket list amps, but the Dumble voicing is a nice too.

I thought all 3 channels sounded great. The only thing I dislike is that red MT100 badge. I could do without that, it looks like something from early 90's era Peaveys.

Wow, I didn't realize that Zach Wish was doing demos for Premier Guitar. He always plays great, appropriate riffs and licks to showcase an amp and gets great tones as well. Guess this explains why he hasn't posted anything on his personal YouTube for a bit.
