All Tube Bass Goodness

Post by Yarbicus »

My shit finally matches. Picked up this Ashdown CTM-30 Little Stubby in amazing condition yesterday. Pretty damn heavy for only 30 watts but i sounds huge and warm in a small room. Matches perfectly with my Rootmaster 212.

That amp gets a lot of great reviews. It's amazing that a 30 watt bass amp can sound so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd like to try 30w some day.

Not sure how practical it'd be for me, but I'd still like to try it.

Yeah, with an efficient enough cab it could do a coffee shop gig but would never be able to compete with drum kit.

That's what I've heard.

I'd like a B15, but the reality that I'll never really use it has kept me from getting one.
