What power tubes are being used in this? I have JJ 6CA7s in mine and really like the sound they give... I want to try the EH 6CA7s but as a result of the Ukraine-Russia issue, I wasn't going to pay what they are going for right now. I think this amp could also benefit from some E34Ls too.

Super sweet. I’ve always been intrigued by the VHT/Fryette stuff. Enjoy it!

Also butthurt because I’m very jealous and miss mine to an insane degree. One of the best amps of all time no cap

That's a killer amp man good on you for getting it back.
You're only 17 buy/sell away from beating my DSL record

I remember the first time I tried this circuit, it was a 50/CL at the guitar centre in Hollywood in 2009 and I was real tempted to figure out a way to bring it back to Canada with me. It’s a great amp and I’m not mad that I have it again.

Hahaha yeah I’m closer to your record with dual rectifiers (6) or AC30’s (5).

About $2k for an 100CL. More for the UL. Although I like the CL better.

I've owned 2 100/cls and 3 50/cls. Paid less than $800 for all the 50s and less than 1200 for the 100s. It's crazy how the prices have ballooned. I really wish I had held onto the 100 though I think my current 50 is the best sounding one I've owned.

The days of sub-$1K VHT/Fryettes are long gone unfortunately. We were living in a golden era and didn’t even know. I wish I’d have kept my Deliverance 60.

Are you allowed to reveal the amp in the first post?

Killer amp though man. Remember playing a used one in the glass room at GC Phoenix when I was in high school. Absolutely killer. Maybe if I bought less weed and beer back then I could have afforded it.

It looks like it might be a great time to sell my 100/CL...

I’d like to spend some more time with VHT/Fryette stuff. I played some sort of Pitbull for a few minutes like 12 years ago when I was buying a JCM 900. It wasn’t really up my alley at the time, but I’d be happy to give one a shot again just to see what’s up.

Cool to get an old one back!

I bought and sold my Deliverance for $600 in 2013. Those days are over lol

Great amp, I miss it.
