It actually arrived last Monday, but I went on vacation for a week the next day . I’ve finally got to put a few hours into it and it’s killer!! MUCH better than the Helix or any of the plugins I’ve tried. Running it through my Laney LFR 212. Sounds pretty damn realistic to me . Honestly I don’t see myself needing anything else for a good long while. I would have been happy with just the 5153 model, but then it’s got a bunch of Mesas and Marshall’s and shit too. Surprisingly I’m digging the hell out of the JCM800 model and I don’t like that amp IRL. Then on top of that it’s got killer effects.

Now I’ve just got to make myself actually play rather than fucking with all the endless settings haha.

Nice, clean rig!!! The Laney FRFR cab looks awesome. The FM3 effects alone is worth the price of admission. The modeling is really solid as well.

How does the 3 switches work? It seems pretty limiting, unless you can assign multiple functions to each switch. Then I can see it being workable in a live situation.

Thanks!! Yes, you can assign whatever you want to the switches. There’s the regular single click, a hold, and a double tap. It’s actually really flexible and does a lot more than you’d think. If it’s not enough you could always get an external MIDI controller as well.

Pretty cool set up with that and the Laney, I'm looking more in the FM3 and FM9. Maybe at some point I'll move from the POD Go to Fractal, in comparisons, I prefer the sounds of the Fractal over the Line 6.

I have really liked my FM3. My favorite has been the 5153 50W blue model, which funny enough, is one of my real amps. Sometimes I also think I could just live with that and be just fine.

Yeah, as mentioned you can assign them by tap, double tap, hold, etc... they have it set up like a sliding set of 3 switches x4. So, default is 123, but you can slide to 456, 789, and 101112. Like a virtual 12 switch pedalboard.

I’ve been enjoying the hell out of the JP2C model too. I haven’t played a mark in a long time, so I forgot about the bass all the way down thing a first and thought there was something wrong with the model haha.

I got mine a little under 2 weeks ago and love it. It's incredibly deep.

So far my favorite tones have been several of the 50W Marshall patches, the Friedman patches are kickass, the edge of break up AC30, AC15, the AC20 Morgan Deluxe & Matchless DC30 patches are incredible (the last 2 amps being someone's dialed in presets I downloaded).

I spent some time checking out a bunch of presets to get the lay of the land checking out the effects routing on the really cool sounding ones. I used some of the same techniques this morning to set up a killer lead patch to use with my rack preamps. It sounds amazing with my Rock Master.
