I had been after a storm trooper tele for a bit. Prices are crazy these days but this guitar ticks a lot of boxes and is as cheap as guitars that aren't total pieces of shit. Someone linked this like 2 weeks ago and I jumped on it.

So, I got it plek'd from sweet water I wanted to dial out all the import problems. Played it this morning and my god does a plek make a guitar wonderful. Action is super low with no buzz, fret ends are round and beautiful, and it plays so easily. All to be expected but surprising, nevertheless.

I didn't plug in for a long enough time but the pick ups will probably go. Bit muddy. Gonna put it through it's paces and make a decision. Probably just go with some kind of hot Seymour Duncan.

Did it come with the Plek treatment from Charvel, or does Sweetwater offer that service on the side? Didn't know that they did if that is the case.

Sweetwater does it. They offer a few services from their shop.
