Im getting a wavering sound from my reactive load and the recorded audio looks like this:
does anyone know what could be going on here?

That's not good. I assume you already did some troubleshoot on the entire chain and isolated the problem to the load?
If so, contact Suhr. They are really good about helping with this type of stuff and when I had an issue with my Suhr ACE (I ran it with the wrong power supply), they fixed it for me at no cost, even though it was my fault. Suhr really stand by their products.
Just make sure the issue is not anywhere else in your signal chain.

Have you tried a different amp into it?

I messaged suhr support to see if they have any ideas. And I don’t actually have any other amps to try out but it seems fine through my 4x12 so I’m not really sure why it would be doing this into the RL. The wavering seems to coincide with the blue input light on the reactive load flickering

8 ohm load? Did it ever work properly? Speaker cable (not inst.) from amp?

I’ve gotten it focused to one area, it seems to overload into this weird state only on full power mode on my recto where the blue light is flashing like it has input but turning the volume off makes no difference, but switching it to 50w mode makes all the issues stop completely and it behaves normally. Through a cab I can’t get the amp to have any problem or weird issue on full power. Volume doesn’t seem to be the issue either cuz I cranked 50w mode into the RL and it was fine but full power on like tv level it started flashing again. It’s weird cuz sometimes full power I can play for a minute and it’s normal then it suddenly gets the flashing input light of which guitar and amp volume have no effect then switching it to half power makes it stop.

It seems like it's overloading the input stage of the Reactive load, which shouldn't be happening because it is designed to take a 100w amp. I would not use this unit until you send it for service, there is definitely something wrong with this unit. If the load fails your Output Transformer could go with it.
