tried some new things as usual. this is my carvin with a L500XL, the rigtalk klone, the krank, the soyuz bomblet on a v30. not sure about this mic on its own for guitars, its really thick and smooth but with a 57 or something else i think it will be tits. tried some different settings on my sansamp. let me know what you think

ha, i thought this one kind of sucked listening back today i tried some things with both my master and drum buss compression and im not sure it worked. tone sounds too grindy too me. im gonna try and remix it, someone mentioned it sounded white zombie like so maybe ill throw rob zombie over it when im done

Personal opinion aside, you always get great grindy tones with the mids pushed up.

Always sounds great man, don’t change your shit.

agree mostly with your first assessment. Little bit too smooth for me.. Im not sure what mids others are hearing but you always scoop pretty heavy to my ears.. The tone is cool, but definitely scooped and smooth sounding.. Bass sounds pretty killer to me.. Drums sound good too

ha thank you, i tend to get "paralysis by analysis" in many areas of my life and i just gotta fuck with shit heres a revision i did with guest vocals by rob zombie, still think this combo is a little too grindy but its cool. thank you all for your input
