Looking for recommendations for a pedal board power supply. I have some Friedman power grid power supplies on my big boards but I'm trying to see what I can get away with on these little boards. Right now I'm using one spot daisy chain, no noise problems cuz I'm running everything into the front of the app but I might want to go better than that. Also looking for something small because I don't know what I can fit under the new pedal boards.

The One Spot Pro is a big step up from the daisy chain, has some big power tap options as well.

Pedal Power 2 is like industry standard, for a good reason. Dead simple to use with the dip switches.

The GigRig power supplies are relatively tiny, expandable / chainable, and they have options for just about everything ever made as far as power draws. Expensive AF tho.

CIOKS is my favorite power supply brand. All their models are great. They have switchable voltage and can power pretty much anything. I have a DC7 for my bigger board and a SOL for my small board.

I am using the Walrus Aetos and love it. It even has an extra grounded power out.

I always used the one spot daisy chain for front and loop and never had any problems.

I’m using a donner power supply for my board at home. Been great for $40!

I’ve had my Voodoo Labs power supply for like 12 years and it’s seen some shit with no issues.

That said, I’m looking at the Cioks DC7 as I ran out of room on my Voodoo

+1 on the Cioks DC7. Great power supply and is expandable. Plus the fact that each output can do different voltages depending on the dipswitch settings is nice. A lot of versatility in that unit.

I run a Cioks Cioklate for my big board. It's an absolute beast that can run the most obnoxious board easily.

For my smaller board, I have a Walrus Aetos. It's a good unit, though one of my outputs has died (that said, it's lived a hard life for the past five years or so).

I've got a 1Spot CS12. Powers all my stuff, including an HX Stomp. Hated paying the monies for infrastructure, but it's absolutely solid and more than I'll probably ever need.

I'd also recommend the One Spot power supplies, rock solid, quiet and pretty much idiot proof since once you select the right voltage you don't have to worry if the output has enough amperage to power your pedals since the outputs are not power limited... the only limit is on the entire unit.

One Spot CS12. Can't go wrong

I've used a One Spot daisy chained for a long time but started looking into getting an isolated supply, the Walrus Audio one seemed pretty good but then I heard good things about the cioks ones. The big thing I like about theirs is they are very thin in comparison to other ones. My pedal board doesn't seem have a lot of ground clearance so I think the Cioks would be the best bet for me.

I was surprised by how thin the Cioks is. A few folks got out off because their cables use RCA ends at the supply itself but I kinda like it. I’ve ordered a couple daisy chains for some pedals that I know I can safely run together too. It’s a solid setup. The fact that I can easily expand it is nice too.

I have a couple Friedman powergrids, and a Truetone CS12. Both great, kind of wish the friendman has 18v instead of having to combine two 9v jacks. If I had to do it all again I'd go Cioks or Strymon, in particular the ones that can link/expand to another power brick. Infact I heard the strymon one can connect to the cioks, something like they use the same 24v connector jack or something.
