WTB: Gibson SG-1, SG-X, SG special

I'm looking specifically for SGs with no pickguard.
Ideally I'd like to find another SG-1 in black, but any color would do, as I could always refinish it.
An SG-X would be cool too as long as it is one of the few they made with no pickguard.
I'd also be interested in an 80s SG Special. Two hums, no pickguard. I've seen them in black, and white. Either would be cool.
I'm not really interested in the more recent SGJs because they seem to have deeper bevels and thinner edges, therefore the body is lighter and doesn't balance as well.

There's an SG-X on Reverb right now... it looks a bit pricy at US$1530 It's in Canada.
Gotta admit, I felt a twinge of GAS!!!!

Yeah, I think it's overpriced for what it is. They are not super desirable guitars in the first place (for anyone other than me

). The seller is delusional. He also called it "mint". It's pretty fucking far from mint.
There's a black 3 knob SG Special on Ebay, and it's the same situation. Way too expensive. Both that and the red SG-1 have been listed for a long ass time and never sell, and the price never changes.
There's a couple of white 3 knob SG Specials on Ebay, but both of them have had catastrophic neck joint breaks that have been poorly repaired.
I paid $440 for my SG-1 and $477 for my SG-X, 2 years ago, and 1 year ago respectively. Yes I know both of these were exceptionally low prices, but I'm certainly not going to pay over 3 times the price for one. I'm willing to go as high as $1000-1100 as long as the condition is good.

I am considering selling this one. It did have a have neck repair that is typical of these guitars but it's been well repaired and it's as solid as anything else I've played. I've done a lot of gigs with this without any issues. I also upgraded all the hardware to locking TonePros, added Hipshot locking tuners and the pickups are a PAF Pro in the bridge and a Planet Tone Full Throttle in the neck.
Probably going to ask $1k for it.

I'll keep it in mind Billy. I'm still trying to get ahold of the pawn shop with the SG-1. I have their phone number now at least. I just have to wait until later to call due to the time difference.
How would you describe the neck on that one? I've talked to another guy about a 3 knob Special and he told me it's like a 60s slim taper.

Yep. 60s Slim taper is the closest I can think of, although it's a bit rounder and "D" shaped. The actual 60s profile is a "C" shape, so it's a bit flatter but same thicknesses.
Hope it works out with the SG-1 I had a black one in the 00s and loved it. Definitely regret selling it.
As for this one I'm not actively selling this anywhere else so take your time and look around, it will be here when/if you want it.
