Ok I need to start clearing out the heard. Perhaps the highlight here is this Custom Gibson Iommi. Basically brand new. This one gets a short story as the shop I’m currently working is located right by where the old Gibson accessories factory was where they made the strings, pickups etc… And those dudes used to come by this shop to grab other gear for comparison or strings etc etc. and the owner Had this one off Iommi that one of them gave him. Now from my experience it’s not much different at all, and perhaps this is an actual prototype. Not sure of the facts but it is indeed and Iommi, and it’s basically brand new. I used it for awhile and it’s the most SILENT pickup you’ll even have. Zero noise. Literally. Even thru my high gain amps, it’s silent when I wasn’t playing. It’s somewhat amazing. The only marking is the DC res on the back which said 17.3. Which is slightly higher than the published specs of the Iommi stuff, but I’ve also seen just recently a guy selling both His Iommi pickups and they were also over 17k. So who knows. But the pickup truly is awesome. I just don’t have anything to use it with. And I figure it’s worth someone else getting it.. all prices INCLUDE shipping

Dimarzio Satchur8 F space $60 (good condition)

Duncan Blackened Black Winter Trem space $70 light wear on one polepiece

Duncan Nazgul reg space $70 like new

Suhr Aldrich zebra 53mm f space $80 light wear under low string

Lace drop and Gain- $60 shows wear and logo slightly rubbed off

Duncan Custom Custom reg space $70. I rounded the base to fit my Wolfgang but literally brand new otherwise. Tried it and it just wasn’t the one

The only reason I’m selling that, is I saw Dimarzio has a very similar pickup called the IGNO. It literally specs all the same as the Sathur8. But apparently it’s scatterwound which would be the only Dimarzio that I know. Anyway, the difference is minuscule and I simply figured the Satchur8 is an easier sell than the IGNO. But yes, it’s a great pickup in the Strat and I’m essentially still using it! Just a slightly different variant

Nice. I might bite. I have a GK jack to install and am successfully currently avoiding that endeavor so not quite ready to add a magnetic pickup to that avoidance list just yet

Did you compare the Duncan Custom Custom with the EVH Wolfgang pickup? How did they compare? I have read they are suppose to be very similar.

It’s an old wives tale. Lol. In the ballpark, but you would t be able to sub one for the other and not notice. Feels like more mids on the Custom Custom
