Had a fusion on your spine at L4-L5 I guess I have a shift on the spine at this location causing pain in the back of my legs. Doctor said I need surgery MRI does show stenosis at this area

No cigs and drinking is better but still needs some attention

I have Degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis, osteophytes, stenosis, adult scoliosis, and bulging discs. Doctor said surgery won't help, just give up and live the rest of your life with pain while we under-medicate you because the government has turned all the pain management doctors into pussies. Its hereditary and my dad had the same and died an invalid in 2011.

Now, that's some serious shit you have. What I'm showing in the X-ray is only L4-L5 fusion together to give the spinal nerves relief from the back of L5 shifting back. I'm in pain but that is one thing I can handle. My fear is not having it done and ending up in the chair sooner or later. From what I've read on the internet people continue with their lives with this
