Buying used DAW - Ableton

Have any of you have experience buying a DAW software license off someone? My trial for Ableton 10 Suite is coming to an end and I'm thinking about keeping it if I can get it for cheaper than the retail price.

I checked out the Ableton forum and it looks like they used to have a forum set up software classifieds but they discontinued it.
