Adding rechargeable batteries with a charging port

I did this to my bass, but I am sure this would work great on any guitar with active pickups on it as well and if you have the room for all the hardware.

Check it out. Now all I have to do is pull out my phone charging cord for a few hours to give my bass some juice and I'm good to go for days.

That honestly is a cool idea. I'm surprised we haven't seen more moves towards making a similar system commercially. Doesn't Fluence have something like that at the moment? Nobody else seems to.

I know the rechargeable battery based power supplies for pedal boards is a thing in certain circles now, but the same for active electronics seems to not really be gaining momentum like you'd think it should. :hmm:

Warwick does this on several of their active models too.

Super cool!

Nice - thanks! I've installed the Fishman version on a couple guitars, but this looks like same or better performance for muh less $$.
