Edit - changing thread to reflect 2.81 that just came out on Tuesday...
FINALLY get to be excited about a Helix update. How awesome to be able to get entirely new amps, effects, and feature updates - without having to pay additional fees!
Can't wait to load it up over the weekend

Yeah man lots of good stuff in there. Have seen a few shootouts of the King of Tone and Helix models. They nailed it. The new Revv model seems killer. Nice that a few companies have come on and officially allowed the amp models to be licensed.

Watching the vid from Glenn Delaune of the Fullerton. That thing sounds excellent.

Free shit!
This is one of the best things about owning a Helix and always overlooked when people get advised on whether they should sell everything an buy one.

Sounds great, tempered by the awareness Glenn could make anthemesque music on a ukelele.

So I updated all my Helix units last night and spent some time with the Revv... HOLY SH*TBALLS! It sounds killer. Nice to see Revv actually worked with L6 as well and I expect by FW3.0 the other channels of the Gen120 will be added.

Got 2.81 update done across the board (HX Edit, Helix LT, Helix Native on 2 computers) yesterday. Only problem was the Mike-LXR USB cable I was using.... as soon as I replaced that damn thing, all was good with the world.
2.8 is really incredible. Absolutely LOVING the Fullerton and definitely liking the Grammatico. Revv sounds great, but haven't been doing the high-gain stuff all too much lately.
ZenDrive and King of Tone stuff is killer.
Been watching a ton of vids - Jer's stuff, along with Jason Sadites has been seriously inspiring. Can't believe how great this thing sounds.

I really need to download this new update and get some more face time with my damn helix.
Literally the only thing I don’t like about it is I haven’t spent the time to master it yet.

Jer's & Jason Sadite's video series' have been a Godsend to me.
The templates (updated for 2.8) and concepts in this video have led me to get some killer sounds out of the unit that I wasn't getting before.
