More dubsteb-esque music for EVERYTHING from ads for tablets, phones, cars, movies, TVs, maxi-pads, old people diapers, and toilet paper.
Honestly, I haven't heard enough 5 second "schhhhhhWUB" blips lately. Because nothing says "I'm hip, I'm in touch" by a music style that will have the staying power of a firecracker.
I'm not a dubstep hater. I'm a hater of it being used to sell EVERYTHING.*
*Everything that the Black Keys aren't already being used to sell. More power to them for making some bank, but holy shit I don't really care to listen to their songs cause I'm already hearing them CONSTANTLY on commercials!

I dont even know what dubstep is. The black keys grate my nerves for that reason, and we cover a few of their tunes. My bass player and singer are big black keys/jack white fans.

Dubstep is "wub wub wub wobble, weeble woobble wub wub wub WHEEEEEE." Its fun in measured doses.
I feel the same way about the Black Keys. I do like some of their songs, but I feel like I'm so overexposed to them that I don't feel any desire to seek out more of them to listen and find out if I like it.

I only have one album. It's one of their more recent ones I bought on a whim that was on display at the register at Radio Shack.

You know what is anoying the shit out of me? That super bassy swoosh noise the are using in sci-fy action flicks. Same sound all the time.

I think Skrillex is sort of the "masses friendly" version of dubstep. I like this song.
