body/neck swap?

I bought a First Act POS Les Paul copy as an experiment guitar. Did neck swaps, full rewire, magnet swap in one pickup, hardware swaps, etc. It actually sounds pretty good, but it feels and looks like DOODOO.

I'd love to move the electronics and such on to a new body, but I have no clue as to what body. My first thought was Strat. The only problem with that is the 4 knob Les Paul wiring wouldn't fit. and I looked for Gibson bodies are expensive (I don't like studios very much)

The Ideal look in my brain was something like a CBS strat, natural with the black pickguard

So what should I drop these electronics? I would like something that I could drop a Floyd in if possible, but it's not a priority. I'd also like something made out of good wood, not cheap ply or poplar or something. And I might add that I am ok with slight body mods (drilling, sanding, but I'm kinda iffy with routing)

Suggestions?

Search for "guitar bodies" on Reverb.com. They have a ton of Stat bodies.

I have been, believe me
but I don't think a strat body would fit the Les Paul wiring. I was just wondering if there were any either:
- Strat bodies that can fit Les Paul wiring
- A body with HH routing that can fit 2V2T and can fit a Floyd.

Well, I'm no expert but, I think what your asking for will require custom work.
You can get a router and the bit you need, for under $100.

If it don't fit, make it fit! :thu:
