https://www.musiciansfriend.com/stupid? ... 0887_38307Manual PDF:
http://sterlingaudio.net/wp-content/upl ... Manual.pdfBeen meaning to pickup a pair of 8" monitors to go with my 3" Mackie monitors.
This deal looks too good to be true. 37Hz to 22kHz, 125 watts.
EDIT: this is the "amplifier" frequency response... wonder what the speaker frequency response is?

Oh, well... for $200 we will see.
The brand, Sterling, is a division of Guitar Center.
Pro Sound News has a positive review:

Thanks Devin! As long as they have an even response, I think I'll be happy.
I will post a review as soon as I've spent a few hours with them.

I got these too. I'm really happy with them but I am coming from gaming headphones and $10 PC speakers.
I can hear the bass much better now and they sound really decent..My only gripe is they are very large.

They were a bit bigger than I expected, too.
I wish that the on off switch and volume knob were on the front... not really for any other reason than powering on and off.
They do sound pretty decent - played some Pink Floyd, Queen's Night At The Opera and some of my recordings through them... they seem to be solid so, no complaints.

Yep, for a couple hundred I have zero complaints. They are not yellow and sound good to my ears. Huge step up from what I had although I am sure they would not compete with some Yamaha's or whatever.
I am happy with the purchase but yeah, a couple of minor things like you said. The switches would be better up front and I need a new desk now to fit them haha.
