Death To The Floppy Drive!!!!

Jeebus H. Christo. Recently got this Triton Pro for cheap.
The floppy drive I soon discovered was FUBAR. Without it, I couldn't update the OS or load presets.
I swapped out 3 different floppy drives into it, with no joy.
This involves taking the friggin thing apart and putting it back together each time.
I ordered a Gotek Floppy to USB adapter off Ebay, and hoped for the best.
Got it installed today, and it works great. Updated the OS, loaded and saved presets.
I'm stoked. For a minute there I thought it was going to be a paper weight.

I did it again. My advice is to stick to US shippers. This one took some Googling to figure out the jumpers to get it to work. It's in a Peavey SP sampler. Apparently there are a bunch of different models of this adapter.

Bought a USP floppy drive to transfer old stuff... that was in 2004.
Think of it as: all that old gear is helping to keep you out of trouble!
