anybody here ever go see the black jacket symphony do a show? they are a big cover band and probably have 100 members in it with certain people doing certain music types. what they will do is pick a band, say guns 'n' roses, and play appetite for destruction in its entirety, and then some of their hits. they are really good and their goal is to sound 100% like the album. b/c of this, they will usually have more people on stage than the original band had. for example, during the eagles' song "hotel california", there is a clean guitar and during the whole song all it does is mute the strings with the left hand at right hand plucks a "wick-ick". black jacket symphony will have a person on stage that only does that the whole song.
anyway, it obviously isn't the same as seeing the real band but it is very entertaining. they do shows all over the place so if they ever come to your local area, check them out.
