Hey guys

I'm starting to use Reaper more and getting better at it, I have the Amplitube 4 plug in and it works great, but is there any other must have plugins for Reaper that you use, either for mixing or effects or amps, whatever you think works for you? Free is better but I'll open to any suggestions.

The Mercuriall stuff is bad ass.

Also, Neutron Elements from Izotope for mixing.

Cool, I forgot about Mercurial. Downloaded Bias amp2 this weekend, I'll try both of them out :thu:

Tell me more about this Neutron Elements.

Here are the 9 plugins I use on every recording.

FREE:
Tokyo Dawn Kotelnikov Compressor - I use this on the drums and mastering
Tokyo Dawn TDR Nova (Analyzer, multi band EQ/comp, De-Esser, etc). I use this for mastering and to solve problems
Tokyo Dawn Slick EQ - I use this for drums and mastering
VladG Molot Compressor - awesome on guitar
VladG Limiter No.6 - sometimes I use this on drums

Pay:
Valhalla Vintage Verb. (Best $50 I've ever spent on recording gear. Total game changer. The sound I've been looking for in my rig for years)

Stuff I got for free through special offers:
Valhalla Space Modulator - great for bass
Focusrite Red Comp - AWESOME on bass
Focusrite Red EQ - great parametric EQ for guitar and bass

Neutron is badass. I love Izotope’s stuff. Wait for a sale, I got it for $29 lol

It’s has EQ and compression, an Exciter and a transient shaped, plus a Track Assistant; you play your audio and hit that, and it analyzes what it’s hearing and knows if it’s drums or guitar or orchestral or whatever and gives you an EQ starting point. You can leave it or change it. It’s awesome.
