7 String OFR Replacement Blocks

Replaced my LO TRS in my RG7420. Seemed to fit perfectly, until I went to put the cavity cover back on. The block is just a hair too tall. I still have to measure the block, but Floyd Upgrades has 7 string brass blocks. I think the 34mm one is the one I need. Anybody run across this problem? Does anybody know where else to get 7 string OFR replacement blocks?

You have a bench grinder?

Hell anything that can grind. Maybe even a dremel with a grinding attachment would get you there, albeit, perhaps a little sloppy depending on your skills.

But yes, I've had numerous blocks not fit and just used my bench grinder to take em down to the right depth

My OCD won't let me do that, plus I don't have a bench grinder. I could get an angle grinder and do it that way, but again the OCD thing. I think the 6 string and 7 string blocks are the same. Floyd Rose sells a granite block and it's supposed to fit either trem.
I'll call them tomorrow just to make sure.

It seems the 6 and 7 string OFR's take the same block. Ordered on for $20 shipped.
Cheaper and less hassle then getting a grinder.
