Whatchamacallit candy bars are smaller and don't taste as good as they did in the 1980s.

This for pretty much all chocolate/sweets over here. American candy/chocolate bars over there taste better because we aren't allowed half the crap they have over there. Sad times! Even the fizzy drinks have less of the norm in them.

LOTSA stuff tastes different than it used to. Especially drinks. Would love to have an old school Mr Pibb (in a can. Bottled, it's too syrupy)

While Im at it, thinking of old school food & drink, some Salsa Rio Doritos would be killer too. They aint made those since the 1990's.

And a bottle of Blackberry Clearly Canadian (another 90's product)

QFT. All the super processed junk food stuff tastes way different to me now than years ago. The only two items that come to mind that don't taste different are 100 Grand candy bars and Totinos Pizza.

Yeah. Now a Pibb doesnt taste much different than a Dr Pepper. Used to be, they were t-totally different..like Coke & Pepsi.

Dr Pepper has changed too.

High fructose corn syrup is the culprit behind why they taste differently now. Buy a Mexican coke and it tastes so much better than the US product.

They are, bro. They age and decay and change just like the rest of your body. Also, our sensory memory is pretty shitty; you're basically always comparing the actual taste to the memory of a taste. Shit doesn't taste like it used to because, biologically speaking, shit don't taste like it used to.
