This ceramic disc cap is in my 1982 Randall RG80. It's the first component that volume knob hits.
I've been getting a headache combing the interwebz for help reading these values. :lol:

1) 472K is this: 4700pF ? What does the K mean?

2) What does the Y5P mean?

3) It's 1000 volts but, is this AC or DC?

OK.... worked it out...
1) It is 4700pF
K = +/-10% tolerence

2) Y5P is the Temperature Coefficient = -25 degrees Celsius to +85 degrees Celsius - THANKS MORT!!!! :hi5:

3) It's definitely 1000 volts DC
