GuitarHere is a strat I modded
From this

To this

A bridge and pick up change on this one
AmpA depth mod on my JCA 20w combo

I also put a cap on the feedback resistor to smooth out some of the highs

I added a little switch to clean things up too, no pics though I am too lazy.
PedalsDevi Ever Soda Meiser, built from a circuit board, the rest sourced.

A black Russian big muff I modded and re housed.

Boss SD-1 Monte allums GT mod

Boss BF-2 another Monte Allums mod

That's it for now
Your stuff is bound to be better than my hack jobs.

changed out different values of caps and resistors, and of course a big blue LED

second pedal build, first etched board, it's a fuzz factory clone. I tried to use a decal and failed, so I just painted and used paint pens

This is my best looking pedal I've ever done, made it for my nephew for his birthday, even put his picture on it and named it after his childhood nickname. It's a Wooly Mammoth clone

Here's an OCD clone I made a while back. Awesome little overdrive. I bought it powdercoated, I've since used gold paint pen to decorate it.

First amp I built:

Not my neatest work but the layout was designed around making it easy to build rather than prettiness.
15W amp I built:

I don't appear to have any gut shots of the finished amp for some reason.
80W amp I currently building:

Seriously, I liked the strat in red (and I am not a fan of red guitars at all); but then I looked at it in white and I have to say I pooped myself. Just a little. AWESOME job Neil!

Thanks. My buddy owns that one now. It has a different neck and an EMG 85 in it now, but it's a single purpose workhorse. Sounds great. Fairly heavy ash piece

nice thread.
here is some woodwork for my Ceriatone 18-Watt:

A crappy tolex job - but it was my first attempt. Good that the camera is overchallenged with the orange:

My last project guitar:

MightyMite solid ash body with a fender neck:

Very cool, I was looking at these as well some time ago. Is Gary Gerhart still selling those Kits?

Thanks! I wanted to make the build look neat like all the boutique builders do.
The kits are being sold by Guytronix, that's where I bought the kit that I built.

It was actually the first amp that I ever built. I tried to make it look like a professional build.
I would recommend the Gilmore Jr. kit to anyone who wants to try building an amp.

Not too exciting but I'm currently recapping a Roost SR100, which is sort of like a Hiwaat DR103. This shot is to demonstrate how much smaller modern caps are and even then the JJ's could be smaller than that!

Here you go Neil, we have "almost" twin guitars a world apart.
Did pickups in both of them. The Rat has a vodka mods kit in it, the CE-2B a Frommel kit. Although I didn't change the bass cap in it. So it's not a full CE-2 swap. It sounds like a chorus with a side of syrup. I also have a CS-3 that I put a Monte Allums kit in. I just picked the kit that required the most soldering

WARNING: EXTREME, HEAVY MODDING CONTENT.
So, I've been using a Mark III (again) as my main amp for a little over two years, and in a four space SKB rack for over a year of that time. But when I bought a Recto Trad Slant 4x12 (again) in January, which is only 11" deep at the top, I quickly found that the feet on the SKB were spaced too far apart to get good footing on the top of the cab. This made the rack tilt slightly backwards, and worse yet, left the rack case rubbing against the tolex.
Unacceptable.
So I bought four oversized rubber amp feet, the size you'd see on the bottom of a decent 4x12" cab. They were $9 shipped. And, drill in hand, I installed them forthwith, at the correct spacing to sit perfectly atop my Recto cab. Look upon my works and despair, motherfuckers:
