Wow, that sounded killer! Heavy and articulate. I started following you on Soundcloud - I am eager to hear more!

Thanks man! I think I spent 5 hours on the snare sound and 2 on the rest of the mix yesterday.
Edit: new mix^^

Thanks! An album per year is the goal. Probably won't happen but we'll see.
edit: new mix again. Just widened the leads at the end a bit.

Sounds dope as hell man. I dig it. I'm usually impressed by Kemper recorded tones.

Thanks man. Just updated the mix before you posted.
Is the low end too much on the drums? I was listening to this in my car and comparing it to Strapping Young Lads SYL, this had tons more thump in the lows.

Nice tones and riffage! Sounds a little less abrasive (more melodic) than the last round of stuff. Still heavy though!

Thanks! It's my rackmount Dual Rec, boosted with a Maxon OD9 Kemper'ified.
Yeah that's the goal, more melodic and mellow for the whole album. We'll fit a bit more saxophone in there this time too.

Bump-o. High passed the drums at 50Hz since I there was just too much boom going on. Too much thump in the lows?
