This one is a bit different... LePou Hybri/Rosen Digital

I have a possible trade in the works for a Vox AC15c1 and I wanted to see what I could do with a British sounding amp. This is what I came up with. Signal chain: Real TS-9 -> Hybrit->Rosen cabs. I was going for a really aggressive, nasty tone that wasn't too high gain and I feel like I nailed it. What do you guys think? https://soundcloud.com/exafro/hybritmastered

That sounds fucking great, man. Very in your face, yet still nice and biting. Love it.

Sounds awesome! Which particular Rosen cab is that?
I used to really like HyBrit, but recently I haven't been able to get it to not sound weird and cardboard-y no matter what IRs I use. Maybe I need to tweak it some more. Weirdly enough I remember that the tones I used to dig with it were with the old GUI version. I wonder if the new GUI version has been updated and actually sounds different.

Thanks for listening guys.
Mark, I never really got along with the Hybrit at all until I tried it again today. I was blown away when I loaded up the Rosen IR's. The one I'm using for this is Crunch Custom 1. The doubled tracks are being run through a Trackmix Studio 1960av 57 IR. Those are way lower in the mix to add a bit a depth and midrange, the Rosen tracks are the predominant tone. Quick question, how do the drums sound? I tried to make them a bit roomier than is normal for me.

everything sounds awesome!
there's just enough atmospheric to it to keep it from sounding congested/compressed

I won't be able to give it a proper listen until tomorrow night, but it still sounds really good thru my computer monitors. I've been using nothing but LePou and Rosen for the past few months.

Thanks for the listen guys. This is one of my mixes that seems to translate well to other listening sources. I was pretty surprised when it sounded good in my car Usually I can get it sounding great on my monitors but something is off when listening in the car or on a phone.

That is too friggin funny. When I went to the Rosen site the other day, Crunch Custom was one of the non-recommended ones that caught my ear instantly
