Been recording a metal band. Check it.

Not really my style of music at all but I was fun to record it. I listened to metal for a long time so I think I have a decent ear for it tonally. I'm really proud of the drums. I did all the programing and feel like I got them to sound pretty natural.

Cleans are all Fender Prosonic
Left guitar is an Ibanez RGD into a Fender Prosonic
Right is an Ibanez RGD into a VHT Pittbull
Solo is an Ibanez RGD into a 6505+
Bass is some Ibanez into the 11 rack

Nice job! good work on the drums too. I've been working on an album these last two months and programming drums by midi piano roll, it's... involved to make it sound even halfway realistic, to say the least. :thu:

That drum programming is spectacular, very authentic!
The mix sounds great, but the vox seem too loud, especially for this material

Thanks man! I'm really proud of how the drums came out.

I'm actually letting this settle for a few days and then I'll revisit the mix. I agree the vox could be quieter.

I agree with this. Vox is definitely to loud. The rest of the mix is great.

Phenomenal job on the drums.

It sounds pretty good man. Something about the vocals is off to me. It's like they are too dry or being hit to hard with a saturation plugin. I don't really mess with vocals though, so maybe its something else.

I was able to listen until the vocals, not because of production value but because I just don't get it.

The screams or the cleans?

Its the screams ej. They don't sound bad, but I feel like they could use something else to make them more polished.
